Joseph began taking photographs while studying abroad in Florence, Italy in 2018. He currently focuses his artistic attention on portraiture and landscapes. His work attempts to capture organic looking photographs by utilizing natural light and candid situations.

Joseph Schopp was born in Bloomington, IL in 1996. He graduated with a BA in theology and an art minor from Benedictine College in Atchison, Kansas. After teaching junior high/high school for three years, Joseph started the Bloomington-Normal based photography business J Photography.
